If you are planning to take your dog during long trips, it might be worthwhile to include crate-training in your dog care training routine. You should also teach your dog to stay put on a leash so that you can easily walk him in the park or take him along when you go biking, without worrying that he will cause any problems.

Finally, you have to realize that dog care training differs from dog to dog. There are some dogs that take to lessons quite naturally while there are those that do take their time to learn. In case your dog does not follow you right away, don’t yell at him or punish him. Just be patient and let him learn at his own pace and it will all work out in the end.
